Sage plant - what can I use it for?

I think sage grows in all seasons, if you have seasons, so you can use it as a "cheat" to grow plants out of season by grafting them to the sage. (I just build a greenhouse)

You can also use it as a base for some things via grafting, like parsley (which is also pretty easy to find...)

I think it's also sometimes used in some of the herbal remedies from Outdoor retreat.

Ah, I forgot about those herbal remedies, nver really explored them although I always intended to...

Grafting on sage, will it make the grafted plant than be harvestable in all Sage's seasons?

I have a silly rule in my game that sims need Farm Right n order to sell by drag and drop. Selling bit by bit from a table is too time consuming, so nobody actually grow it unless they have those Rights already. Another way to sell is to first craft something based on the produce, that's actually why I would like to know if Sage can be used for something I might have missed.

I think it can be used in recipes that "require" any herb - but it may just be recipes from the baking skill.

Edit: I checked Carl's guide and it turns out gourmet cooking is the skill that you need for recipes you can use sage in. As well as a couple of recipes from the baking skill.

Thanks for that info! Then it's not totally wasted to store it in the fridge :)
