I agree. The multitasking made the game harder: why sims can't keep themselves properly sat down at a chair and why they can't eat continuously without glancing at everything around them even if they're living alone are just a few noteworthy examples. Maybe because there isn't enough codes as basically the whole game is.
They've put themselves into a corner again with multitasking. If it was me, I would have focused on something I had experience with, like open world, improving it (even if I never liked open world) instead of jumping into something new and problematic once again. They are brave, but always do like this.
