Save File Recommendations

what are custom save files?

I use Plumbella's save file a lot! I'm in the process of making my own as well, but I don't know the logistics of sharing it since I have been using some gallery builds and whatnot and wouldn't want to upset creators.

@MadameLee custom save files are user-uploaded save files that generally have repopulated worlds, new townies, and new builds.

Jenba has a great save, but it only includes the BG worlds and Magnolia Promenade.

Are they done without mods and custom content? And do you download each lot and household separately?

@SheriSim57 I've never seen a custom save that included CC in their download. I know Simsie has cc reccomendations(her default skin), but they're not included in the download or required by any means. CC downloads go in a different folder than save downloads, so I'm not sure if anyone has actually included them before.

You don't download them separately, you download the entire save file and plop it in your saves folder (The Sims 4>saves) and then it'll pop up under your saves next time you load up the game ^^
