Scaling is a very cool feature and one I use often.
You're right, there are plenty of things that look way too big in comparison to sims. I find myself scaling a lot of decor objects and wall lights. And I like to scale trees so they're not all the same size, some smaller and some bigger.
I wish there were more sizes. Eg. If I was scaling down an item, there would be a smaller reduction with each key press than there is currently so we could have more size options.
