School and The Calendar

Question

Now that we have a school pack coming, I was wondering if we could separate the work\school time off on the calendar.  Sometimes I like to close school but keep the parents working.  I know I could just send them to work but I don't want to manually do.

I don't believe that school/work holidays are a part of the pack. I've seen no mention of it. However, if you are on a PC and are not opposed to mods, LittleMsSam offers school holidays and work holidays. For example, the school mod and the calendar can be used to create summer holidays for students. Meanwhile, the parents continue to go to work.

Unfortunately, mods may be the only way to achieve what you're looking for.

Yes sadly it looks like I am going to have to resort to mods as usual.  In the summer, I like to have the kiddos off from school but the parents still go to work.
