School Day Now Ends at Five PM?

Another one of my Cantrell kids got sent to detention. I just looked up and noticed that the school day menu now states School Day ends at 5. Say, what? It was always 3 before. This EP is so dang messed up, it hurts. Some have suggested transferring your Sims to a new save fixes some of the problems, others say that merely compounds things. I have no idea of where to go now.

    This is the same effect as when you have a Salaryperson work overtime: the end time in career panel will temporarily change to show what time your sim will return today.

    So don't worry, that's normal.

    Detention extends the school day to 5. Normal school day still ends at 3

    My teenager had gotten detention also and the day won't end for them until 5PM because detention. Course I had them skip out on it one time and they got expelled. :P So that's actually working correctly.

    I've only just started the high school experience so it's good to have advance knowledge of features working as intended. :)

    I guess I never noticed the change in time for the end of the day whenever her two older brothers served their time. I didn't have to have Brianna pull a fast one. She just got up and walked out. I had to send her back. Erik was there, waiting with her, as he did Joey. Oh, well.

    Yes, and I have had two Teens, two different days get detention. I either just never noticed it before now. Or the save, which was in my game when the Patch hit got borked. I did change it out for the back-up version, though.
