I have also not done the Scientist career yet. I was hoping to wait until the devs fixed the plant growth bug at the science lab. However, as it is starting to appear that the bug may never be fixed, I started to consider going the college degree route as well. How essential is having access to harvestables at the lab to the career? Can I work around the bug by growing plants on my Sim's home lot & bringing those harvestables to the lab?
