They can only die from falling in rock climbing and freezing to death (which came with seasons) while they’re snowboarding and such if you have that turned on.

I think the moodlet they may get from it will prevent them from doing any more sports for a while.

I am also wondering if a massage could help, one of my sims got sore feet from using rented skis so a footrub might be helpful?
Gonna build a spa in MtK and find out.
Besides that I think you can buy ointments from one of the vendingmachines in MtK.

From the moodlets, I know two stages (a moodlet with one plaster (stage one) and a moodlet with two plasters (stage two)). From what I know, if sim gets crushed by a vending machine when they have stage two injury, they'll die (otherwise they'll push the vending machine up, get up, and get their injury moved up a stage (0>1>2>Death)).

The hot springs reduce the time of the Uncomfortable moodlets from skiing, snowboarding, and rock climbing. The showers that you're supposed to use before getting in the hot springs also help reduce the time.

@TomasGrizzly : The moodlet did stop continuous runs at ski slopes. I didn't really realize that was why at the time.

@RavenSpit : A good soak at the Onsen or a bath with muscle relaxing soaks if not Onsen! A massage sounds like it would help to me too. I have yet to visit the bathhouse, so I don't know whether it has massage facilities. I'll have to check it out.
