- I Don't Play With Kids Very Often, But If I Did I Probably Wouldn't Want To Do A Break Every Season. I Think Just A Few Days Off In The Summer Would Work For Me Because There Will Be Other Holidays Around The Year Where The Kids Might Have Off School. I Wouldn't Want Them To Miss Too Much School And Never Have The Time To Get An A.
- XxAirixXSeasoned NewcomerI think you can do that by creating a holiday everyday or as many days in the row, set it to no school or work and not list any traditions. I think that is one way to create a holiday break. I would have to test things out to see once Seasons comes out. I don't even know how long seasons can really last or how long you can set them. I think for at least 4 weeks.
- If I just want the children to have a few days off but want the parents to still work I have the kids take vacation time.
- That is true. This is just one way that one can give the children a break.
- Probably a week off in the middle of Summer (4 week seasons here). I'd make it longer but they have aspirations that depend on homework... Maybe a couple days off in Winter and Spring, with Holidays in the middle, to mimic Winter and Spring break. I use long lifespans.
I kinda hope that more kids will use playgrounds during holidays... - JeanVWSeasoned NewcomerI think I'll give them like a week off in Summer, two days in Winter, and for Spring and Fall probably either none or one day. Summer the longest because here in the Netherlands summer break is the longest break from school, two days in Winter mostly because i let them have a gift giving day and a Snowfest day.. Kinda emulating Christmas. Spring because I just want them to have a Flowerbunny day. And fall because I want them to have Halloween or Spooky Day.
- I'm doing four weeks seasons. I'll only be doing Summer vacation and it will be week 2 & 3 of Summer, Mon-Fri, day off from school/work. Some traditions I'm think of are BBQ, water fun, and take a vacation/travel. They'll have two days off in Winter for Christmas Eve & Christmas. No days off in Spring, Spring Break was never something my school did as we always missed one or two months in Winter.
- I will have most of the holidays fall on the sat/Sun because the father Is in the business career(almost always as it's my fave work shift for them) and most times the mom it stay at home (although I do plan on sending my current one to work in the new career). If they get any extra days off it will just be like 3 day weekends. I'm not worried about grades (I always do homework and get A) I just like getting them out of the house to spend time with the toddler and getting the house cleaned up.
- I'll have winter break from Christmas Eve to New Year (3 days basically), summer break for 10 days (I'll be playing on 2 weeks), plus 1 day of school break in spring and 1 day of school break in autumn. 15 breaks.
