Seasonal Holidays and Events.

I added Bunny Day (Easter), Freedom Day (4th of July), Remembrance Day (Memorial Day), A holiday week of summer vacation that occurs 2 weeks before the start of Fall. My Harvest Day is 2 days (Harvest Day and Day after Harvest Day), Menorah Day, Kinara Day and added a Winterfest Eve. I also made everyday between Winterfest and New Years Day no work holidays. I'm still thinking of a custom holiday to add, but I feel like I already have too many and my sims are always on holiday.

Those are some great holiday ideas. Although I think you "missed" an opportunity to call Freedom day Simsdependence Day. ?

I added "free spirits day" with dancing, music spirit, drinking and streaking,
"flower power" with gardening and giving flowers,
"bunnster" = easter,
"spooky day" (but the trick and treat never works, there are never any kids showing up),
"summerfest" which is BBQ, waterfun, fire and travel/go on vacation,
"winterfest"= christmas
"geeks games and glory" appreciate object, wear costumes, games and invite guests
"Light of hope" attend holiday ceremony, festive lighting, grand meal and thankful spirit
"love day" = valentine
"New years's eve"
and
"EXTREME DAY!!!"
which is fire, fasting, exercise and polar bear plunge, it is in winter and I already lost a child to the polar bear plunge (that was horrible!)

I added in Summer Holiday which is a day off for everyone, where you spend time with friends and family, have BBQ, play in the pool, and have a fire. I also added in the Super Bowl for my sporty and bro sims - everyone gets together and watches sports TV, has a few drinks and grills. I'd like to add a couple more but haven't decided what yet.

LOL!!! It's never too late to change it. I like that a lot better

Halloween and Christmas Eve. In addition I changed the Winterfest Name to Christmas.

I quite like the names, hence why I used their pre-existing Spooky Day name. I haven't added enything else yet, but the random ones are rather fun, too.

Christmas eve new years eve and day and Halloween but kept winterfest just to make It like a new thing

Hmm Bunny Day is an awesome name.

I added Founder's Day which is like the 4th of July which includes streaking xD I also added a Winter Solstice holiday that's just before Winterfest ! Some of the ideas in this for holidays are pretty awesome as well
