You can also use cheats to change the season to skip winter and fall. I'll post what I wrote in another thread.
First turn testing cheats on
Then type "seasons.set_season #"
And you replace # with the number for the season that you want
0 is summer
1 is fall
2 is winter
3 is spring
So for example if you want spring you would type seasons.set_season 3
You also might need this mod to be able to use the cheats.
