Do you have mods? Thunderstorms shouldn't happen when their turned off. If this is a bug it needs to be reported.

@Missmagoo2 Did the thunderstorm you experienced happen on a 'mystery' day? Unfortunately, even with thunderstorms, blizzards turned off, you can still get that kind of weather on a 'mystery' day. :/

I don't think I know what a "mystery day" is
The forecast at the bottom had a picture of a cloud with lightning

@Missmagoo2 Did it show that icon on the calendar day? Sometimes on Mystery Days I've noticed the forecast at the bottom will show the current weather, but if you open the calendar and look at the forecast that way, it'll show a yellow question mark for a Mystery Day. If it's not on the calendar and shows a thunderstorm icon, it's most likely a bug.

Also, I've noticed if you JUST turned off thunderstorms in settings, sometimes it takes it a little while to kick in. Hope that helps! :)

I didn't check the actual calendar! I'll keep that in mind if another thunderstorm happens and I'll see if it's a mystery day.
Yes, I had "recently" changed the settings (as in I did when I started the game). But, it was about 2 weeks in-game.

I don't think they happen on mystery days with thunderstorms turned off - at least, that's been my experience. If they're off, they're off. They do happen in Strangerville, however, regardless of your setting.

Bring on more mystery days! Bring a blanket of heavy snow during a summer heat wave in Oasis springs. Literally a cold day in hell or when hell freezes over, what would be never is perversely a 100% chance of happening. i always wanted to see what Oasis Springs would look like snowed in.

It would have to be in the High Desert for that to happen. ;)
