Seasons: Am I the only one who finds these two features annoying!?
First of all, I'm having A LOT of fun with Seasons, so I'm NOT bashing the overall pack!
However, there are just two things that are really irritating me... the constant lightning strikes during thunderstorms are one of them. It seems like the objects outside my house are ALWAYS being struck by lightning! I put a grill and a table outside... and both were struck by lightning that same night. I can see this becoming VERY annoying easily (since it already has). I don't wanna have to constantly be replacing my outside objects over and over and over and over and over again... just because of this. Yes, I get that objects can be destroyed by lightning... but EVERY SINGLE TIME!? I don't think so...
Another thing is the fact that ANY electronic that's outside ends up being destroyed by rain... including stereos that were literally meant to be outdoors (such as the one from the Backyard stuff pack). In reality, a person can have an outdoor stereo and not have it constantly being destroyed because of rain. I've also noticed this happens with the neon signs that came with 'Get To Work'... which basically destroys the entire purpose of having these objects in the first place. Yes, electronics often get destroyed by water... that's obvious. But electronic objects that are literally made to be outside should be the exception!
Because of Seasons, we can't have wall stereos outside... and we can't really have any objects that aren't under a roof either (because they either get destroyed by rain and/or lightning).
Like I said, Seasons is a great expansion pack! I'm very happy to have it! However, there are still these minor issues I really don't care for. I mean, I wanna be able to have music outside without the stereo being destroyed whenever it simply rains. I would also like to have some objects outdoors without them being destroyed by lightning whenever a thunderstorm hits. At the same time, I also wanna be able to still have rain/thunderstorms occurring in my game... but it looks like we can only have one or the other without them conflicting.
If it didn't cost money to replace these objects within the game, I wouldn't find it as annoying... but constantly needing to "re-buy" them is ridiculous.
