Seasons and Strangerville: this is normal? Bees and Bizarre fruit

I haven't tried the bee box in strangerville, but I got rid of it because bees always attacked my Sim when they stepped outside their door lol. That was in Newcrest. They had plants and it would attack when they garden, but also if they went outside to swim in their pool.
