Seasons decoration box never works for me :(

I have this issue and it really irks me. The decoration box never works for me. I want to decorate my roofs, etc and also the fence with lights or so but it never appears. Like 1/9 the fence decor would show up but it NEVER shows up for my roofs. I still have the option to remove the decorations even though they are not there, if you know what I mean.
I am in a Christmas mood already and Winterfest is coming in my game soon. I decorated the interior a little bit already. I want to put up lights and the rest as well :( But the game is in Grinch mood.
I'd appreciate all the advices.
