Seasons gardening/harvestables *new info* - thank you kalaksed :)

Can you link the videos that were most informative about this when you find them also? So far the two I've watched are informative but one lol I don't think they ever garden.
Thanks for compiling this info so far. I'm very interested in changes made to the gardening system as many of my sims have rather large gardens. I'm wondering how this will affect spliced plants... like will the base plant be the one that needs to be in season? ... Soooo many questions.
