Seasons in the Desert

This is my first time playing through seasons in any neighbourhood and the desert neighbourhood is where I've started (the name escapes me). The summer was great as it was always scorching. I thought things would slow down in the fall, and it did with a little rain and cooler temps, turning off the AC. But now it's fluctuating back to scorching. I'm wondering if there will be snow?

Can anyone tell me what to expect with the various seasons in the desert neighbourhood?
