I'm so sad! It used to be a private type of island, no one would walk by, no townies, and I didn't have to worry about so many random townies being generated (with my mod set up) but now they walk by for no reason! Anyone else sad by this?

I agree. I thought it was part of the appeal of the island for it not to be visited by anyone without invite but the mailperson. I've seen random walkbys lately. I hope they make it private again.

Oh no :( I hope they change this. I use the island for historical saves and it would be ruined by random townies walking by. I don't have seasons yet, and if it ruins the island then I guess I'll never get seasons. :(

Yeah, I love that part too Evie! And I'm not sure if it was Seasons by itself, it might be one f the patches!

I've noticed this too since loading Seasons. The first thing I did is create a Sim and put him on a lot on the island in Windenberg. The island has been my absolute favorite place to play since getting GT, exactly for the reasons mentioned above. Up until now, it's always been so peaceful and deserted, no walkbys at all. The only sim I'd ever see was the mail person.Now, I get constant walkbys such as Mila Munch, Hugo Villareal n his Scout uniform, Marcus Flex jogging, vampires and wannabes at night, etc. They'll even sometimes stop and make Snow Pals. My Sim's lot is starting to be surrounded by an army of them.It's rather annoying, but not so much I don't want to continue using the island. I love that island more than any other area/neighborhood in the game. Except perhaps Sylvan Glade. So far that area seems to be relatively untouched by the weather except in Winter no fish are jumping in the water. You can still fish there and catch them, but you can't see them. Plus, certain plants are just mounds of dirt because they're 'dormant.' That was disappointing. I went there specifically to collect Lilies for my gardener Sim. I guess he'll just have to wait until they're in season. I thought Gurus said that the hidden areas wouldn't be affected by seasons? Maybe I misheard and they said/meant the weather. I guess that makes sense. Perhaps it's challenging/not possible to exclude the affect on plants just in certain areas. Bummer... Oh well.Happy Simming anyway! <3

I think the private lot trait stops door-knocking not walkbys.

This is also happening on those two secluded lots in Brindleton Bay. They’re supposed to be disconnected from the main roadways and yet sims are coming into their lot and building snowpals and stuff

I prefer the "unihabited" environment of the island as well. I hope it gets fixed. Well, not "fixed" but put back to the way it was originally. It's the only enviroment that feels right for my loner/recluse sims who abandoned society.

I doubt you will see them during the week - end though. That's their work account and I am pretty sure they only use them when at EA. Week-ends are usually busy for Grant with real life stuff.

I use that private lot trait on all of my lots, all it does it keep sims from visiting your lot uninvited (except vampires & the mailman). Sims still walk by as usual.

It's definitely because of seasons. I just bought it yesterday and now I have a bunch of walkbys on the island too. I won't be able to play my historical saves until this gets fixed.
