Once again, I must ask. What is the incentive to Pre-order this game expansion?

Hang on. Please help me out as I'm a bit lost. I've pre-ordered before now and found no real benefit other than not having to buy it on the day. They let me know when they take the money out and I have never noticed anything go wrong. What is this about interest?
