Seasons: Raining too much
For the most part I'm really loving Seasons, but I'm really getting tired of it raining ALL the time. I feel like my sims can never enjoy the outdoors anymore because it's raining or there are thunder...

The weather machine is your answer. With the appropriate upgrades you can adjust the frequency of desired weather by season. So, for example, it will still rain, but not nearly as often. Or it will rain a lot more, but not every day. Or it will snow a lot. You also don't need to leave it on the lot. use it and then drop it back into the household inventory. The weather will be set for that world for the season.
I use that, you can always stick it under the house and pull it out when you need it.
