Seasons: Rebate Day
I have not had this pop up in my current save yet. Seems like it might be a fun storyline for shopping in Build/Buy mode. Have you done this surprise event? What did you think about it?

I like this event actually, though it always seems to happen at inconvenient times. First time I didn't realize you had to spend $500 on a single item for it to count. It was a starter so everything I purchased was cheap. Over $500 altogether. Didn't count. After that I realized my mistake and it was fine until recently. I've noticed with a few of the events this one anand the lottery in particular that even though you fulfill them properly, they don't actually count. Very annoying. Not sure why it's happening. Hope they sort it out. Otherwise its a good event. Nice way to get a little back.
