Seeing how the Strangerville GP was produced, would you like a Castaway GP?

Yesss I've been hoping that we'll get a castaway GP for sims 4. :)

It's definitely not high on my list but I wouldn't mind it.

I really dislike things with an endgame. It ruins the sandbox feel for me. I'd much rather have things that evolve over time. Even at the end of a career in sims 1 I'd get a box asking if I wanted to change jobs. Which I always did. No end games for meee

Honestly, I don't play the sims for them to tell me a story. This isn't Mass Effect or Dragon Age. I am usually telling my own story with my own sims so I am concerned about this pack and I will be watching those game changers to find out about it. Hopefully, their videos will be informative not an hour of CAS.

This is the first pack ever released in the sims series that I have no clue what it is really all about and whether or not I want to buy it.

I've played The Sims since TS1 days, and I have to admit that Castaway Stories is one of my most memorable and enjoyable experiences of any Sims game. Maybe that's because I am not your typical Sims player. My sims spend a lot of time out in the world. The more non-home lot activities the better. I really enjoyed the new areas, activities, jobs and build/buy items.

Funny, when I played Mass Effect I wished I could have sims living on the Citadel.

Sims Castaways was probably my #1 (maybe #2) favorite! Maybe it was just my 11 year old self but that game was so fun.

No way. This is a sandbox game where I have control. If it was a spin off that might be different, but not as a gp.

I don't mind a bit of a side story but the main game should remain sand box where we can let our sims live the lives they (we) want. People talk about the replayability of Jungle Adventures and it does matter. You can still go on holiday and enjoy the local live without visiting the temple. So if that's possible I'm ok with it. But I definitely don't want all GP's to go down this story driven road.

I want a Pirate EP! Read all about it in my signature :blush: It's not a linear story, but an awesome RPG-like open career with adventure things, sword fights, wars and allegiances etc. Outside of the pirate arc, the world is also (like Strangerville) a beautiful albeit themed residential world that is usable for normal gameplay. One could play castaway on it via bulldozing the lots, as the world barely has infrastructure.

Other than that, I wouldn't mind a Post-Apocalypse pack with emphasis on surviving in a ruined downtown environment. There could be zombies, clans etc. I prefer these kind of packs with high replayability value, otherwise they get bland. Instead of a linear storyline that one has to follow, I like extensive backstories and premades that are actually affected by these events.

I loved Castaway Stories so much, I really would love seeing it again in The Sims 4.
