There's nothing wrong with a little self-love, it's not like they'd be showing anything, just hide under the covers as they do for a shared woohoo, or when they go for a cry.
irl, selflstuff should be seen as a normal, everyday occurrence, like taking a shower, except it happens from before birth, with most people engaging in it 'til death. It's the safest woohoo that you'll ever have.
