Yeah, they could definitely be better. I think the best part of them is that they aren't always mutual, but I do wish we just had one-sided relationships. Proximity buffs are fine, but I wish they did more than just affect the mood.
But then again, it's probably just a core issue. I really wish they would just go back and rework what's already in the game (Emotions, Traits...personality...) instead of piling more stuff on top of the broken foundation.
