Sept 18 Patch and Exciting Base Game Update

Finally !!!!!!!!! I've wanted a white swatch for that couch for so long!!

Just from a realistic standpoint, I was disappointed before I saw the patch notes cause the event looks fun but not major enough and while it's not always perfect and sometimes, we may not all see the good work done. Mostly because minor bugs may linger and your old saves may stay broken it is nice to see all they were working on, that travel bug and the save bug were a real pain, need to do some testing for sure but I am cautiously optimistic.

More cupcake machine swatches?! Oh, how awesome!

I was actually expecting something with a little more omph to it than simple arches. For a 25 year anniversary I'd hope for something a tad decorative, but hey-ho. Hopes were not up there, so anything goes. And, I don't see that those arches are any different from the one we already got, but because they are base game, it would not be fair comparing to pack content.

I sure dont, and you can make cupcakes in the oven now since the last patch.

This is interesting.

The pluses are the DLC improvements and new swatches.

Still, some gripes include that I expected something more special for the 10th anniversary. The new event is interesting as it reminds me the old ones in the past, but the fact that these objects will be unavailable if players don't participate in that or are way too late is... tragic...

But for now, I'm stuck away from my computer. So, if there might be any new traits, please wait for the Saturday.

The cupcakes are available in the oven now but the cupcake machine also has other recipes that I haven't found elsewhere. These recipes are either base game or get to work, not sure. So occasionally I do still use the cupcake machine. 

Ok if you never even care what furniture is in sims house or what ever color they are, then I get not liking free swatches...  

But I sure do welcome all free stuff, and swatches more than anything.. maybe now I can use furniture I would liked to before, but never did because colors were totally not fitting.

Really like all the new swatches. I don't use much cc so I do appreciate it. 💚

I don't  have that option maybe cause I have laptop mode on for my mini pc.
