Sept 18 Patch and Exciting Base Game Update

Might be a wise choice.

There is a couple of new doors and arches.

I'm not having any save errors, corruption, or other new random issues (as yet), but I'm on a Mac. No DX11.

Did we get the pacifiers? I haven't updated yet.

New items from updates don't get a 'new' tag like items from a dlc you buy. It will be just in jour game without any indication that it's new , easy to overlook. 

I am in a quandry.  The last time I patched was the update prior to 7/23.  I have heard quite a few people not being able to even open the game, it freezes after a few minutes, it crashes even if it starts up, and the save error, which I saw was supposedly fixed in the latest patch.  My game due to many issues I won't go into is very important to me and if I patch and can't play, I don't know what I would do.  It may not be something that I could fix on my own, and if it is on EA's end, it would not be something I could count on being fixed for a while as they are only doing fixes every other month.  I really want to participate in the grim reaper event, buy the story book nursery kit, and just play with direct x 11.  I am so scared if I patch and update my mods the game won't work.  So should I update or is it not worth the risk and possibly like others break my game?  Any input would be appreciated.

What a wonderful patch.

I never ran into many of these issues but I’m sure some people did.  I ran into the no pay for streamer job, students stop taking exams and the finchwick fair notifications.  They were more annoyances than anything but it’s really great stuff like this is addressed.  My experience was hurt by these little things so I’m glad it’s fixed.

Also really pleased doors won’t show in apartments now.
