I’m always a bit sceptical about an ‘exciting’ update. OK, so we’re getting a base game update. That sounds interesting. But let’s wait and see what it is and then decide if we think it’s ‘exciting’.

I have a feeling the "exciting" update might involve worlds, as in some kind of change to Manage Worlds or possibly even a world editing tool. If so, prepare for some "exciting" major new bugs as well.
I couldn't care less about pacifiers. I tend to forget that they even exist, and when I remember they exist, I dislike them. I wouldn't use one for an infant/toddler sim because I wouldn't want to see half their face obscured by it.
I didn't install the Lovestruck patch because of the possibility of save errors and corruption, which are still not resolved and are not on the laundry list. So, I don't think I'll install this one either since those problems won't be resolved. Good luck to those who do patch!

Anyone excited yet?

afraid would be more accurate in my case. Too many glitchy patches in the past.
But at the same time curious to see if there is anything good besides bug fixes.

It would make so much more sense if they released the patch notes right BEFORE the patch drops, so we could know what's coming with the patch as we wait for the game to update rather than like 1h after....
