I'm playing Serial Romantic aspiration for the first time. My male sim Dion, is going through his aspiration, which is harder than I thought it would be.Then the game asks if he wants to get a fortune, but he must be married in a week. So, I do that. He was already trying to get Paulo as a boyfriend, so I just had them get married.My plan at this point is after he finishes the aspiration, to realize that Paulo is the love of his life and switch to the other romantic aspiration.My problem is that Paulo is always angry about his unfaithfulness. Understandably. And he shows up when Dion is on dates, so it's making the rest of the aspiration difficult.Is there a way to make Paulo not care for now?

Hm, is he in your household? Generally if a sim in sims 4 doesn't see the cheating they don't know it's happening. So I would have him do his thing on a different lot than where Paolo is and it should be fine.

You could also give Dion's lovers homes and Dion could go visit them.

He is in the household. I try to have the dates when he is at work, but for some reason he knows. lol this is so not my play style.

I sometimes have other household members follow the sim I'm travelling with to other lots. I don't know why. If I wanted them to come I would have brought them.But I think you're missing the point of that aspiration. It's supposed to be difficult. Then you complete it and no one will be jealous anymore. Just go with the drama for now. Maybe Paolo will break up with him and that is what makes him realize that Paulo is the one. Then when he finishes the aspiration, he can do the soul mate one and win Paulo back.

Hm, is he in your household? Generally if a sim in sims 4 doesn't see the cheating they don't know it's happening. So I would have him do his thing on a different lot than where Paolo is and it should be fine.

I think they must have updated traits and more drama in this game if that is happening. I have a sim couple who won't stop fighting with each other. They both have the evil trait plus she/Juliet is High Maintenance/Self Absorbed/Erratic/Snob. I used the more CAS traits mod to have that many traits. Juliet seems to be the one initiating these fights. It's a bit frustrating though. I wish there was a way to have evil people get along with each other while being nasty to everybody else. They are both evil soulmates after all!

I wonder if it would help to make Paulo serial romantic too? I think his aspiration is athletic at the moment. I don't really play him.

Agree with @RedShoe7 ... the difficulty is part of the point.

You have an interesting situation there... they got married for money, Paolo doesn't want to share, will Dion carry on with his wishes to play the field (finish the Serial Romantic aspiration) or will Paolo convince him that just being soulmates together is better? (ie convince Dion to switch aspirations before finishing Serial Romantic)

To be honest, I've always found serial romantic one of the easiest aspirations in game. But I've never tried it while a sim had a spouse though.

The simple solution is building a nice bachelor pad on the bluffs and just have all dates over there, doesn't even cost money.
If you do want to spend money, I think you can do the same by buying a retail lot and just never open the shop. You can have dates on retail lots.
Or if you don't have the necessary expansion, maybe just use a rental lot?
Downside of options 2 and 3 is that there will be walk-bys, which means a higher risk of exposure.

And general tip, use the group feature to direct the necessary sims to the right places (away from the rest).
