I've spent nearly 3 weeks trying hundreds of different skins and its come down to these two shown below -but now I'm seriously stuck.Both are "maxis match" overlays and not skin replacements, which mean they can use base game skin colors and show the appearance of muscle and slider age details.Skin 1 (shown in gold bikini) is much smoother and a basically extreme version of the maxis match with an almost anime cartoon or "anime game" styled appearance. Skin 2 (shown in silver bikini) smooths parts of the EA skin texture while providing more shading and definition to edges or details to create a realistic but smoother maxis match appearance.A comparison between face, abdomen and knees will highlight differences the best from pictures below if that helps.I've literally wasted days trying to decide and I'd love to see what other Simmers would pick. Thanks for your feedback! Ya if I go with Skin 1, I plan to slightly adjust the "abdomen line" going up from her belly button to her chest (not sure if that's what your referring to) so it doesn't go so high. Its ok now (less noticable in-game) but I'd prefer to make it a tiny bit shorter with an easy photo shop fix.

Its a chainmail bikini lol, I was setting up a medieval world and just trying out different outfits to see if I could get the look right for a warrior girl. Hence the orc she's arguing with...

Personally I think the first skin looks too cartoony and smooth for my taste if I were to use a custom skin. The second one is much better defined and realistic looking. But it doesn't go TOO far as some do. I'm not a fan of the red nose look for Sims either, but I didn't even notice that until it was pointed out. *shrugs*

Are these default replacements? If not, I’d keep both on the game. But if they are, yeah the 2nd is better. I always prefer more details on the sims.

Nope they are just skin overlays not skins or replacements. I tried both in-game but I found myself jumping back and forth between switching skins for the sims on screen which in itself became distracting (trying to decide which looked better on which sim without much decision lol)
