No, it's OK. I love to make lofts, and use them a lot. But unless it's a box, I can't figure out how to keep the roof outside the room.

Sid, add a porch to the front of that and maybe a side room. Make the first floor larger than the lofted area. Now make a roof over the first floor areas and pull it across. Your roof will break into that inside space. You can try to use the single pieces and create the roof piece by piece, but a lot of the time the roof still either comes inside or doesn't reach that wall, so you have a gap.
