Setting up my first sim business: advice please

I'm soon to set up my first business in the sims, running a bakery, and I've absolutely no idea how to go about it. This is the first time I've run a business in any sims game. Can anybody please r...

Use the "Pick up serving" function to split group meals into single servings to sell. The price is the same so easier to profit. Higher level foods make more money, generally.

If you play rotationally it's also worth selling birthday/wedding cakes. Saves your sims some effort :p
