Sextuplets!

I have a family with toddler sextuplets, created deliberately, with MCC. The parents, James and Kate Knight, have Felicity (independent), Ethan (charmer), Lia (clingy), Pippa (angelic), Aaden (inquisitive) and Jess (silly). None of them are identical, but it's a lot tougher than expected, even when slowing down their needs a lot and changing the time ratio in the game. I want them to be able to explore the parks and places around them, but it's tricky. They are adorable, and with the toddler stuff pack, they do play outside and with their climbing frame. However, I'd love for them to be able to swim and be able to do a bit more as a group- does anyone have any ideas?
I am a family player, and don't want them to age up for a while.
The house is a custom built bungalow, with a huge playroom with an open kitchen. Kate and James have six of everything- six highchairs, potties, tiny armchairs, etc!
Felicity's colours are crimson and violet, Ethan is blue and green, Lia is cream and turquoise, Pippa is purple, Aaden is orange and yellow and Jess is orange and indigo. Currently, Felicity and Pippa share a room, as do Jess and Ethan, and Lia and Aaden. Lia and Jess are best friends, but both sleep badly. They tend to mostly all get on well. There is a TV in the house, in the room which adjoins to Kate and James'.
At night, I have to lock the bedroom doors to stop them getting out, just so that Kate and James can sleep!
I imagine they have a reality show, like "Kate plus eight", and so I use motherlode once per week as the parents' job.
Has anyone got experience with multiples and any tips? Even quads? We have a cleaner. I'll try and post photos tomorrow!

  • One of my sims had triplets once and I had no choice but to go back and load an old save. There was no way I was dealing with all that.
  • I have four toddlers but I don't use the high-chair, it's sounds like you have the same as me a bungalow, with toys in the main room. I managed okay with one adult sims, only toilet training was the hardest, It felt like it took me ages to bath them and potty train them.

  • Current routine is that one adult makes breakfast, while the other dresses them and does potty. Everyone eats, usually by the time one is done the last one is still being put down. Then, room full of toys which is the main room of the house, and try and meet at least 4 aspirations for each one each day. Waking before 7, eat between 8 and 9. 2pm until 4pm is garden time, then James makes dinner until 5. Eat till 6, then bath, then bed, then stories. Usually all asleep by 8, then they each wake at least twice per night. It's exhausting! I'm considering making Kate/James a mother to help out!
  • @Familytree I couldn't even lol I don't know how you don't go crazy! I love that you have a routine though, that must be the key to staying sane with sextuplets!
  • Routine is key! I also had them move house pretty early on into a new custom built place, as I ended up building a mini kitchen in the playroom, and then everyone got confused with the downstairs kitchen.
  • High chairs are a pain to deal with. Just put any regular food out and they can eat that. You can use fencing to keep them penned in a certain area. When training them on the potty, have the other toddlers watch and they will gain potty skill, too. If they wake up from nightmares just have them nap. You’ve got this!!
