I added 4 new households to Sulani since I play on rotation.
So far, the 2 households I am feeling more attached to are the "Auntie and kids" and the "Island kids and fisherman". They both involve orphans and a love for Sulani.

Thee are six sims the grandparents Nani and ikaia they have daughter named keone who married a guy named tane with who she had two children manu and manaia i searched on the internet for polenesuan/island inspired names and choose the ones that i liked the most there back story is
This family has resided on sulani as long as they can remember back in the day the family consisted of grandparents Nani and ikaia who had a beautifull daughter named keone keone fell head over heels with tane a local fisherman with a passion for everything water together they had two children Manu and Manaia but sadly tane and keone passed away they had upset the elementals who had protected them on their dangerous trips on the ocean and without there protection they didn’t stand a chance against the monsoon shortly after ikaia passed away due to old age and heartbreak caused by the death of his daughter and tane who he considerd as his own son Nani took it upon herself to protect and take care of manu and manaia
It kind of sounds like moana i really wanted to include a rich backstory for them i have created them and an working on their home

Thanks hahaha and i don’t know maybe it’s the island setting that is kind of adventurous i just loved the idea of the monsoon and having this family go trough some stuff can’t wait to share the pics the grandmother is adorable

Kamila learned as a young adult that the people she thought was her parents, had adopted her from Selvadorada. Kamila became obsessed with wanting to know her heritage, and more about her parents. With hardly any money, she took whatever money she had to travel back and forth from Selvadorada to San Myshuno. Along the way, she met the man of her dreams, Reid Salas. Together they had 8 children. Like most marriages, Kamila and Reid had their share of ups and downs. But Kamila always thought they were solid. They both rose to fame....global stars....with Reid gaining his fame as an Archaeologist and Kamila as a Stylist. They say money and fame can change a person & that's definitely what happened with Reid. He became someone Kamila no longer recognized. After Reid's numerous affairs, Kamila decided to end their marriage. Most of their kids were grown by this time, but they still had 3 little ones. A bitter custody battle ensued. Fast forward to current status....Kamila has decided to move to Sulani. She heard about the Island from her best friend and it sounded perfect to her. Desperately wanting a fresh start....Kamila packed up her kids, sold her Oasis mansion, and moved to the Island of Sulani. Fame and fortune left a bad taste in her mouth....& wanting nothing more to do with fame, Kamila quit her job as a Stylist, booked a celebrity cleanse & quit the spotlight. She recently joined a job in Conservation, wanting to make a difference in the world. If there's anything that Kamila has learned is that life is full of ups and downs and even with all the money she and Reid had, it was the worst time in her life. Money can not buy happiness. All she yearns for now, is peace and tranquility.

I haven't had a chance to actually play yet, but when I do, I plan to create a mermaid. Her backstory is pretty simple. She's spent her life in the oceans surrounding Sulani, only coming ashore every so often. Now that she's a YA, she wants to try living on land a bit more permanently so she can get to know the locals a little more and learn more about their culture (and sims in general). At some point, I want her to have a child, possibly with another mermaid, but most likely with a human. She will probably not marry the sim, not at first anyway, and will raise her child by herself for a while. However, that will happen later in her story. I plan to turn aging off for a while so I can explore the island with her without having to worry about her getting too old to complete the storyline. I saw a house that someone made that's just a tiny shack designed for mermaids, so I might download that for her to live in it to start with.
I decided not to move any of my current households to Sulani, they’re happy where they are settled. But they need new blood to mix with. So my plan is to have 2 new families based in Sulani that I will play for a sim year before adding them to the rotation with the others.
I have only created one of the new families so far. Natasha Keys is a mermaid with twin human boy teens. She joined the conservationist career. She is a child of the ocean, cheerful and... romantic, I think? It was like 4am and I can’t remember her last trait or aspiration. But she’s not the focus, her sons are. :)
Her son Chaz loves music and is outgoing. He aspires to be a musical genius. His identical twin Benjamin is good and a geek. He wears glasses and he aspires to be a Nerd Brain.
I built them a very small home on the 50x50 lot and plan to expand it as they can afford it, eventually having one of the boys start a family on that lot. I guess I’m looking to create their future more than any backstory. But ok... here goes... maybe... Natasha had always lived in the sea, but she spotted a human male one day that changed her life forever. She seduced him and things were going great until she revealed her true self. He freaked out when he learned she was a mermaid and she hasn’t heard from him since. She’s been raising the twins herself and they would never follow in their dad’s footsteps... or WOULD they??! Hmmm?
