A little bit about my vampire game backstory:
Evangeline Dumont is the daughter of a vampiric French Countess and a human British vampire hunter. Her parents met while her father was on a mission to exterminate a nest of vampires in a remote village in the French countryside and her mother was subsequently the one behind the endless attacks. Although he liquidates the lesser vampires under the Countess' control, he falls in love and spares her life on the condition that she never feeds on another human again. They later marry and have a daughter named Evangeline, but the Countess dies in childbirth, the strain of pregnancy too much for her body. The hunter vows to protect his newborn at all costs.
Now in her early twenties and a vampire, Evangeline has awakened from hibernation many years after initially being turned by the vampire who originally changed her mother, though she does not know this fact. All she can remember is meeting a handsome young man at a debutante party, feeling very strange and passing out afterwards. She is able to draw enough money from her parents trust and move to the Forgotten Hollow, buying a small house there and begins to learn about the modern world.
