She Did It On Her Own!

I panned the game camera around to the kitchen/kitchen Breakfast Nook to find that the table had been set. Mind you, I didn't click on any of the five Child Sims to set the table, but there Harmony was finishing up the job. I'm gobsmacked and very pleased. Twin-B is racking up points with her 'Watcher'. LOL

Have you ever caught your Sim in an autonomous act of doing something unexpected, on their own? Let's hear all about it!

I’ve never seen any my sims woohoo autonomously.

To be fair it only started happening in my game since sentiments were added. If the couple are deeply in love and smitten with each other they become very flirty when in each others company. They do not, however, try for baby autonomously.

I've had that for longer than sentiments came along. I think it has everything to do with how full their relationship bars are, quite frankly. I love it, either way.
  • I think the Child Sims in my current game are very competitive. I told you about Twin-B, well, Twin-A is now taking it upon herself to set the table. Yay! I am also rotating the chores between the five Child Sims. Toddler is just too young to do much more than give her parents 'fits'. LOL I'm so very glad the with Cottage Living, the Child Sims can help with the animals. This family only has chickens, to date, but I started sending the Child Sims out in the mornings before school to feed them and collect the eggs and clean the coop. So much easier to manage this way. :)

I've seen it one time. I've also seen teens "mess around" once autonomously.

I bought a bunch of upgrade parts so one of my Sims could upgrade the fireplaces and noticed he was autonomously doing other upgrades. He's upgraded the entire family's beds and a sink.
  • My sims live next that little playground in Willow Creek and the kids are always running over there to play on the pirate ship
