I agree with a lot of people here, we don't need a pre-adult stage. Especially since young adults do the job well enough, and the reasons for the pre-adult stage are pretty common feelings among young adults. I know I've felt that way plenty of times.
I'd rather they focus on developing the younger life stages a bit. After taking care of kids all day for years, I notice all the emotional changes and ideas that go through a kid's mind. Toddlers are vastly different from pre-schoolers, pre-schoolers are vastly different from school-age children, and I'm assuming those guys are all vastly different from tweens. (I can confirm this later, just wait about six years.) They're juge steps in gowing up, both physically and emotionally. If they're developing a sim's life cycle, I feel like those are more noticeable and meaningful points to cover.
