Sims don’t age while at college in Sims 2 and 3. I would hope the same would apply in 4. I don’t think the game really needs any other ages, at this point it would be super difficult to make a brand new age that is also compatible with the library of DLC that has already been released.
Sims 2 got away with having a college only life stage because it reused the adult Sim body and the teen Sim voice. It didn’t require any new animation work to be done, but teens and adults already share the same body and voice in 4 so that is no longer a feasible option for a ‘new’ age.
ETA: Teen - elder use same body and voice. Honestly, a new adult-ish age would probably share that stuff too. I just don’t see the point in the bigger picture.
