Hey, I am not sure if anyone even remotely remembers me, but I used to lurk on the forum and join in conversations from time to time a few years ago. I really enjoy the Sims 4, but just kinda stopped buying packs after Cats and Dogs due to just not being interested. I was supposed to buy Seasons, but by the time it came out I just didn't feel like playing anymore. This is mostly due to the fact that my old laptop had to run on the lowest of settings and even then it would lag and I'd only be able to play if I stayed on my home lot. When I got this new one I re-downloaded Sims 4 and it ran so much better. It was the first time I was able to play it on higher settings and it just felt and looked so much nicer. Long story short I've been thinking of returning overtime and have that Sims itch, but thinking of using the create a bundle to snatch up some content I've been missing. I was thinking of getting Seasons + Realm of Magic + My First Pets. The bundle for all three comes up to about 50 bucks and I don't know if I should be smart and wait, play the game for some time to even see if I want to continue or just bite the bullet and buy the bundle now. I don't want to buy the bundle and then stop playing because I'm busy or have something else to do because I feel like it is a waste, but at the same time I really want them and Seasons is something I've been waiting to have for yeaaars. What do you guys think?

Definitely get seasons & realm of magic when you're ready to bundle, but you might want to see if any of the other stuff packs interest you more. While I like some of the build items, overall MFP didn't really impress me; don't think it impressed a lot of players, actually. It's *your* game though, so get what suits *you*.

Bundles are the most cost efficient way to buy packs, but whether or not it will be worth it is impossible to say.

Seeing a movie costs about $12 these days (without snacks). Will you get the enjoyment of four movies out of it even if you stop playing fairly soon? If so, then I say yes!

Decide how many hours you'd have to play to make it worth the price/hour of entertainment haha. It's all in perspective. If you don't want to pay more than $1/hour for entertainment, decide if you think you would play the game for 50 hours. If you can afford $2/hour for entertainment you are free to purchase if you think you'll play for 25 hours haha!I mean, myself over the last few years I've had a lot of opportunity to play because I can play at work (in fact on half my shifts playing around on my laptop is the ONLY thing I can do lol). So, I've bought all the packs except vampires and realm of magic and in total I've spent around $500 Canadian, but I've played 800 hours+ making it around 62 cents/hour of entertainment haha. Not bad at all.

Yeah, I decided to bite the bullet and do it and so far I have no regrets which is good. I've kinda put my sims on ice because I wanted the kids to experience Winterfest and be able to grow but just never bought the season expansion when it came out. Now I can finally do that and advance their stories. It already feels amazing as Seasons quite literally changes a lot of things. I went head first into Winter and it's just constant Blizzards at the moment and I love that I get the feeling of home and togetherness that I just always craved. Thanks everyone, I know I'm not the type of Sims fan that plays all the time, but to be able to enjoy the game so much more whenever I *Do* play will be great. I already had to get myself to stop playing before it got too late haha.

Should I return to the Sims 4 while making a bundle?

How about playing your sims for a week in their time and see how that goes?

Might be enough time to make that decision.

I actually am happy to take suggestions. The only other Expansion packs I don't have is Island Living and Get Famous. Seasons is heavily integrated with the base game and other packs which is what I have always always wanted in packs. I know Realms of Magic is all new, but I've always like magic based things. As far as Stuff Packs, I've gotten the ones I've wanted already. I don't really see the value of Romantic Garden for myself, Toddler Stuff is meh to me, Luxury Party has that buffet table that I really want though idk if it's enough for all that, Patio does have the Jacuzzi though idk, Fitness and Moschino seem like cool packs but just not for me. My First Pet just seemed like something nice for kids, though honestly I could care less for the Build/Buy or the Cas. It's hard to find packs that are good on all fronts.

My main fear is putting the money into the Bundle and not ending up playing after a week or so. Like I'm expecting myself to be devoted into the Sims 4 if I get it. I guess I'm just trying to accept that it's alright to not have to play the Sims everyday and that I can hop on whenever I want.

I endorse the suggestion to play for a while first to see how much you are really into the game, not just think you are. As far as which ones if you decide to do it, go for what will contribute the most to how you play the game.

I wouldn't imagine a bundle would be less than an expansion? I'm in Canada and don't know your prices there but it would seem pretty strange to have it cost less than an expansion for sure. In Canada a bundle is approx the price of an expansion and a stuff pack, so it's like getting the game pack free. (Might even be a bit cheaper than an expansion and stuff.. I tried to check but it just tells me I don't have enough packs left to build a bundle and so I can't see the price haha, but I did most of my purchasing that way and it's close)

You said you use to really like it... how long did you really like it? Years? A few months?
Sometimes you need to take a break from a game. any game ... it's not going to be your be all end all forever and you will probably go through another time of disinterest eventually. If the game not running well was a big part of all that and that's not a problem now then give it a try. Not sure I'd suggest a bundle personally. I'd get something on sale unless your real interest is not just to play in general but to play ROM also.
If you've tried your game on your new computer and you're sure it runs well and you're excited with playing what you have but want more.. go for it.
