Should it be a girl?
So here's my back story. My parents (in real life) wanted two children, a boy and a girl. That's not too uncommon for their generation. Anyway, so my older brother was born and they were ecstatic. Then, after I was born (another boy), they were like "this shall be our favorite son." Okay that's what I say in my mind at least. Umm, moving on, their third son made them question where the girls were and their fourth son made them question life in general. (Wow, okay a little egocentric on my part I know).
Anyway, after being "blessed" with 4 boys, they decided not to try again. Their fear was that if they did have a daughter at that point, she would either be the most spoiled primadona ever to live with 4 boy servants wrapped around her little fingers or would be so thoroughly tormented by 4 rough-housing big brothers to the point where should would become the 5th son.
This was all taking place back in the 1970's (which I ushered in and you're welcome). So anyway times were definitely different back then.
Now, how this pertains to the game...
My two husband's, Corbin and Rohan, have 3 sons, an alien (Corbin's by abduction), a human (Cirbin's and Rohan's by scientific experentaion) and a vampire (by conception on a cursed lot).
Corbin has decided that he wants a merchild and so decided to seduce Adriel (the brother of his former butler). Now, he and Adriel are expecting a baby (as mentioned in other posts). Once the baby is conceived, Adriel will "disappear," I'm sure but my question is, given everything you've now learned about me and my family and sims family, if the new baby is a girl, should I reset the save for this family or let it play out and see if she becomes the monster either of those above-mentioned scenarios suggests? This is not a sexist thing, it's a matter of practicality. (I've often wondered what would happen if I did have a little sister and admittedly believe at my 52 yo age, that she would be my goddess. I would have spoiled her beyond belief. I'm sure of it.)
