Should Swimming/Diving be it's own skill?
It's always irked me that swimming/diving is tied to the fitness skill. All of my mermaids end up with level 10 fitness. Should there be a swimming/diving skill if Island Living gets a refresh? ...

I would say yes it deserves to be it's own skill. If rock climbing and snow boarding can be separate, then swimming should be as well. Swimming is a completely different activity than working out at the gym.
I did not think a swimming skill should be tied to island living. Building pools is a base game possibility, get together added a swimming pool lot, newer worlds also have swimmable areas,... Diving can only be done in sulani, so that makes sense to be tied to island living.
After all music is also split into the different instruments and singing and cooking is split into cooking, gourmet cooking and baking. There is no reason why swimming has to be part of fitness.
