Absolutely, the Sims 4 is way too childish. I want it to be more adult. I know, they've tried to make it a safe space without any violence at all, which is good, but they tried too much, just too much. It's all around soft, sugar, bright and childish. I'm a fan of recreating the real life and the Sims 4 is too dreamy.
May be an unpopular opinion, but I'm not a fan of too much fun stuff in the game. It doesn't mean I want blood, cruelty and murders, but Grim Reaper with a freezer bunny iPAD and rainbow poops (and other stuff like that) make me not smile, but facepalm. There is humor in the Sims 1-2-3, but not so irritating and in-your-face.
I also wish that the level of 5 years old kiddies jokes would go down, because it's really annoying when you create a very elegant, classy, educated and humble sim that looks like an Anne Rice vampire, he asks someone to massage him on the table, then farts in his face and laughs.
