as a player i can say i never notice content that has been watered down and if you look at real life some adult ya by there own choice sleep in twin beds like some adults makes the choice to live toghter with out the need to be married, the sims4 is a life simulator made to create characters (sims give them virtual lives create there story of how they live there virtual life and have fun playing the game not to recreate reallife itself. The way i see the game is to have fun and escape everyday life and concern not recreate in the game
