Sim just stands there

ok try this send sims to a new lot this is a good reset option better then the cheat. if this doesnt work then try repairing the game. close game open origin under my games right click on sims 4 icon

This is happening to me also. I just installed GTW, and 5 minutes into game play my sims keep stopping what they are doing. I paused the game for a second and that brings them out of it, but then they stop again a few seconds later. It seems to happen more often when I ask a sim to clean up a plate of food.

Yep it would be active but he just stands there it takes a long time for him to go actually do it.

I don't use mods or cc because I'm afraid it would make the game slow or crash

The patch helped them eat a little faster but the gardening fix is still yet-to-come. They stand and stare when directed to "harvest" between each plant.

Of course that may now be due to the fact that they're finding those Easter eggs "under" each plant they harvest.

But when it comes to leaving them to their own devices (not queuing any actions for them at all) they pause a few Sim minutes and something pops up.

Is "autonomy" in your game "off", by any chance?

i havent had this problem

Happened to me just now. My sim did this at the library. Well all the sims in the library just stopped what they were doing. I put testingcheats on, shift-clicked my sim to reset him. It helped. But everyone froze when I told the child at home to tend garden which they normally can't do in the first place. But that option was there. I wonder if it was because of that.
