[LD] Reaper: Dead Sim stuck standing on lot

I've tried resetting the sim, and they are not interactable unless I've collected a witness statement. It then allows me to follow the procedures such as checking the pulse, ect. It's when I listen to the Sim's plea is where the issue starts. After accepting to "revive," the so called deceased sim becomes non- interactable (the same happened before I interacted with the witness), although can be clicked on with cheats. I've had this one lot do this twice, so I'm not certain if it's designated to that one spot or if there might be others. I assume it might be some coding issue where it believes the sim deceased is still "alive" and moving, which might be the possibility of that triggering the issue, but I'm not sure. If anyone else has similar issues with this Reaper career, let me know!

    I have the same problem on that lot. The supposedly dead sim just stands around. I cannot click on it and therefore not progress the career on that day, because the only task is to revive the dead sim.

    This happens to me every time I have a dead sim. Sometimes they start standing and lay down after a few seconds, but more often, they just stand there. It hasn't mattered what lot it is. Can't wait for the devs to correct this glitch.

      Update, while typing this, a standing dead sim just disappeared from the lot.

        Crap, the whole scenario is just always busted to hell. The dead sim went back to laying down and now, instead of interacting with the witnesses, my sim is just meandering about the living room with the interactions stuck in queue.

      and this is without mods/cc ?

      There do seem to be certain issues with certain lots but what you describe seems a bit extreme.

      I personally did lots of reaping and only had issues a few times but never with them not lying down.

    Ah, I had just seen this, yeah, I have this issue too and she wouldn't lay down at all, same NPC, same lot. I used my spellcaster to light the ground on fire, she was "dead" but still managed to extinguish that fire. She stayed vertical until my Sims reaper shift was over. Her soul never got taken.

    I’m having the same exact problem! I already witnessed the plea and the so called “dead” Sim is alive standing around. Tried resetting sim but nothing. It’s def a bug.

    Was the Sim on the floor at some point or like this after you reset the Sim ?

      It’s happened on 2no separate lots now seeps to be only when there is witnesses.
