Sim male fiancé refuses "try for baby"? Hates children. Is Pregnancy possible?

Hello, I'm playing a legacy and had my current female Heir get engaged to the mail man. He has a "hates children" trait and I have tried several times to get him to "try for baby" though they have ...

Yeah I ended up adding him to the family and having him initiate. So strange as I didn’t think it happened before and I had another sims couple like this but I can’t remember who initiated try for baby.


Last patch had some trait improvements so it was literally just changed.
