I almost never pay attention to their voices. Because of my hearing deficit I tend to play with the sound off (for my family's benefit) or with headphones on rarely. Imagine my surprise back when there was a bug that gave all the born in game male sims very high pitched female voices and on the rare occasion that I logged in with sound and heard them....I nearly fell out of my seat giggling.
