I don't know if they're even allowed to respond. They probably want to address the situation and talk about what's going on, but considering how even the official Twitter is dead, they might be under a gag order by EA until they can think of some way to issue a statement. I got that feeling when they went silent after Journey to Badgame.
No idea how they can respond though. They already issued an open letter saying "we hear you" and "we'll try to do better." It'll come off as disingenuous if they do it for the thirty-millionth time. Maybe they can issue refunds, but The Sims 4 is still plagued with so many troubles that things like this are going to keep happening. Not that I blame the gurus for this, given how they work under EA, and EA is... yeah.
