- elliebretonSeasoned AceSims 3 wins hands down. It was so packed with content, the weather in open world was amazing and the summer fun on the beaches and in the sea was magnificent. I say Was, but mean is.
- I was wondering when someone was going to do this. Thanks for sharing. :)
- Definitely TS3, probably biased because I have such fond memories of that version, but the new seasons pack looks like a lot of fun, so many things I’ve been longing for, but TS3 has a better trailer (and better music!)
- It's really interesting to see how different the three trailers are!
TS2 trailer was very upfront, describing the new gameplay, which isn't done much anymore; the trailers today only show you new stuff and let you discover and speculate on what it will actually be like in game. Which I don't hate honestly, it adds to the excitement. It also seemed to focus on rendering the atmosphere of each season. We can hear a lot of sound effects and it shows way more heavy snow and rain than TS4 trailer, in which there is mainly light snow and light rain, except for the short moment when we can see a storm caused by the weather machine. The only sound in TS4 trailer is the music, not much emphasis is put on the potential sound atmosphere, that the viewer has to imagine. However it shows a lot of new interactions, and clearly is focused on the added gameplay.
I also think TS3 trailer was the most appealing because the atmosphere of each season seems so beautiful in it, and I guess for me that is what matters the most in a seasons EP.
Btw can we talk about the choice of music for every TS4 trailers? Most people seem to like them, but personally they always make me so uncomfortable. Am I alone in this? I have nothing against pop music, I even kind of like it, but these songs always seem to be the kind of songs one would expect when watching a trailer for an american teenage movie. I'm almost surprised Zac Efron isn't in there.
By that I do not mean it is a bad song, it is pretty nice, but it does create the effect you are watching something specifically targeted towards teenagers. I wish the trailers didn't always have that same style. For seasons I would have loved to hear something else, maybe jazz for instance, as there are lots of songs associated with Christmas or with summer. - You know what I prefer the 4th and I know TS3 seasons was awesome, one of the greatest pack but it was so laggy when raining and snowing an I was cheating all the time to stop the rain/snow. I hope the fourth won't be like that. But I prefer the fourth trailer I don't know why but maybe that's because I'm soo excited.
- The Sims 3 Seasons hands down. It was so much fun!!! It is my favourite EP for that iteration.
TS3 art style is so ugly though! I remember the shock when I first got it, but I got used to it. Now that I don't play it anymore, it shocks me again. - LiELFSeasoned VeteranSo far Sims 2, but that will probably change when I get ahold of Sims 4's Seasons. I didn't play Sims 3 but the trailer does look awesome. Yeah, I think Sims 4 will be the best one for me just because of that lightning trick. I really want to see that in my game!
- Sims 3 seasons was so laggy and when you went to the festivals they were empty no one was there. Holidays never worked properly unless you had a huge home, gift giving was like “time to move the sofa outside for a few hours to make space” Everything got lost in the snow. I do like the fact they take off there jackets when they went in the house.
Sims 2 seasons was good, gave some visual verity but wasn’t very impactful in sims lives.
So far sims 4 seasons looks the best but they showed us seasons only. If other packs like cats and dogs react to weather and we can tie in other features great. - Sigzy_29New Spectator

It's awful, besides the fact that most of the songs they use in the trailers are off putting and pull me away from what's actually in the trailer, most of them aren't even in the game, in simlish, so I don't understand the point. They used to use the simlish songs in the game but not anymore. - Yknow seeing this made me realize something awkward: Sims 4 Seasons lacks Jack-o-Lanterns....because they already have a pack that called dibs on some of Season's content.
Gonna be awkward seeing that you basically have to buy a stuff pack to have the content you want just to make or fully participate in Halloween as a holiday.
