Sims 2 premades remade for the Sims 4?
So I started playing around with all the pre-made families in the sims 4 but I miss some of the old families from the previous sims games. I found the Broke family and the Pleasant family in the galle...

I did it the other way around, bringing my favourite Sims 4 premades into Sims 2. Wiksims on tumblr has done some amazing recreations :)
The only TS2 sim I ever played in Sims 4 was Tank Grunt. Since his upbringing was so strict and he never had a real teenagehood I gave him the Childish trait. As part of his backstory Buzz had become president and Tank had married his co-worker Eryn Kennedy from Sims 3.

The recreations I used were Eryn Kenney by Rainebou and Tank Grunt by 3Ray2523
Tank became an astronaut in Sims 4. He also tried his hand at politics like his father, but wasn't succesful.

Maybe now that we have the politics career it would have gone better for him.
Together Eryn and Tank had two daughters, Lyla, who resembled Tank...

They also had a son, Fritz, but I have no screenshot of him at hand right now. Frith resembled Buck. He would have loved Cats & Dogs EP, I'm sure.
Lyla naturally followed down her father's and grandfather's path. She always knew she wanted to become a space marine and started training as early as fourteen.
Tank was a good father, he even visited his girl at her first day in the training barracks:

It was a bit reminiscent of how parents wave goodbye their college age children with a tear in their eye in Sims 2.
Lyla married the orphan Tom Shelby whom she met during military service. Only later I realized that they had met very early on already (but they probably do not remember):

Tom was a troublemaker who had already spent some time in prison before turning twenty-one. In the barracks he first alienated the instructor, but slowly matured and eventually became an upstanding member of the Grunt clan. I always liked him, because he was one of my succesful attempts at teens looking younger. Sadly he never lost that boyish look as an adult.
