That’s impressive as the Sims 2 did 6 million+ on PC, and Sims 3 did 7+ million.
Sims 2 is over 13 million all platforms in 2012, Sims 3 was at 10 million all platforms in 2014.
That said, we’re in an age where piracy is harder as it stops people exploring the full game and is super buggy which forces people to buy.
So there’s provably plenty of people who downloaded 2 & 3 illegally as it was easier.
So that’s an advantage to 4 overall.
Still, it’s awesome that it’s hit such a huge milestone so early in it’s supposed life span. Guess that’s why they’re keeping it going, it’s not slowing down.
